About_Me 2_edited.png

I am an undergraduate student at University of Southern California's Roski School of Art and Design with a minor in Psychology. My artistic practice is driven by curiosity and initiative. From an early age, I immersed myself in coursework and extracurricular activities that expanded my creative perspective. At Roski, I continuously seek out new skills, explore diverse mediums, and learn from experienced artists and designers. As a result, my work reflects a broad range of inspirations, techniques, and approaches developed over the years.

In many ways, my artwork is an attempt to "hang on" to my inner child and return to a time that is free of the self-criticism and fear of judgment that we develop as we get older. I am often inspired by my sense of nostalgia, and my work typically combines elements of realism with a whimsical, fantastical, or dream-like quality. I frequently view photos from my childhood – when I seemed blissfully unaware yet capable of a whole range of emotions – to inform my work.

I enjoy creating both 2-D and 3-D works, and I am especially drawn to world-building with characters, scenery, and storylines. My work spans graphic design, painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, and costume design, and it’s not uncommon for me to generate work using vinyl records, old magazines, or items I find in nature.

I am eager to pursue opportunities where I can showcase my knowledge and grow as an artist and designer.
